Who
I left a 15-year corporate career in my early 40s, packed everything into a Land Rover Defender, and drove out of Hong Kong with no guaranteed income and no plan B.

Hong Kong-born and raised. Left at fifteen for New Zealand, then on to Australia. Worked in Sydney. Moved back at thirty. Spent 13 years at HSBC.

That was July 2024. The plan was one year. I'm closing two. 27 countries, Hong Kong through Central Asia, Europe, Arctic Circle to Sahara in Africa. 70,000km in a Defender. No crew, no sponsor, no support truck.

Documenting what this actually costs, what it does to you. Breaking Cycles is a record of rebuilding life outside the structure. Starting a business from scratch on the road, and sharing the real work behind that change as it happens.

What I Wish Someone Had Told Me When I Left
600 days of figuring out what the structure was actually doing. Not the career. The structure. The meetings, the calendar, the version of yourself you become when everything is accounted for. What's left when it isn't.

Work with me

Most businesses know what they need their digital tools to do. The gap is between that and what's available off the shelf.

Before anything gets built, we have a conversation. What does your business do, how does it run, where is the friction? That shapes what gets built. Sometimes a site. Sometimes a booking system, a client tool, a web app. Whatever the job actually requires.

No template. Built around how you operate. A CMS if you want to make simple updates yourself. Ongoing support if you need it. You deal with one person from start to finish.

There's only me. No account managers, no sales reps, no six-week timeline before you see a first draft. That's either a problem or exactly what you need.

Beyond the Bubble
An app for people living on the road. Find out who's nearby, get the real vibe of a place, ask for help, connect when you want to. Built because the tool didn't exist.

The Leap
A life design tool built backwards from what actually worked. For people who want to build a life outside the 9-to-5 but don't know how to fund it, structure it, or start. Not a framework someone sells without using it.

// Why me 13 years in fintech. Not building products. Managing teams, finding solutions, making things happen. Same thing now. Different environment, different scale. No institution behind me and no one to hand it off to.
